Minding Your Mindfulness

Minding Your Mindfulness

We do not achieve mindfulness. We are mindfulness. Even if our thoughts wander, we can still be aware in that moment. When the judgment creeps in that we are not “doing it right,” it equates to beating ourselves up for not breathing or digesting in the right way. Allow the self to fully experience the whole of the moment, and settle in knowing that all is okay and perfect as it is.

In mindfulness practice, you train to observe so that you feel able to respond, rather than react, to what you are feeling in the moment.

I help A-types B(e) more. A congruent life feels vibrant and full of infinite possibilities where your body, mind, and spirit feel in sync. Like a personal trainer for the physical body, I help individuals train the mind toward positive focus and deliberate creation. Contact me or visit www.nicolemignone.com for more information on group and private sessions.

Just thinking at the end of 2016 that I need to be more mindful and focused. I like the idea of trained to respond rather than react. Fine line.
